I have followed the instructions within the installation file and I have the following symptoms.

1) Links and keywords refused but the user is taken to a corrupt PHPNUke window

2) Registered users still able to enter blocked words in their posts even though the conversion is taking place.

i.e. blockedword is posted in the forum as http://blockedword.bbspam.com/

Are there any special considerations for setting this mod up within phpNuke 7.8?

Thanks for reporting the problem, I've added it to my TODO list. But I can't promise I'm going to solve it in the near future.

To stop PHP Nuke spam, I recommend to use Advanced Textual Confirmation:
