Why does ATC ask the question again after cache/cookies have been cleared from the user's browser? It is a REGISTERED FORUM MEMBER, yet even though the question was asked/answered during registration, it is asked yet again. This is annoying. The original TC did not do this and it worked perfectly.

Because the fingerprint of a pass code is stored in cookies.

All the security measures have drawbacks. Most people don't delete cookies, therefore this feature doesn't affect them.

I've applied the mod, however, the problem still arises after clearing cookies/cache. What a bummer... I really wish that the original TC worked correctly with phpbb3.

Make sure that you've changed only the file "ucp_register.php", and restored the original "common.php".
