| The version 1.0.0 sends too much data about your server to us. More precisely, the whole content of the $_SERVER variable is sent. Starting with the version 1.0.1, only the spam-related data is sent. Details are in the faq.
To update from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 just copy the new includes/functions_bbas.php over the old file. By the way, here is the explanation why so much data was sent. I noticed that different spam bots sometimes have different data in the $_SERVER variable. I think that it is possible to understand * what is the bot (XRumer, ...), * what other forums are visited by the bot. I'm very curious. Therefore bbAntiSpam was sending all the data to me for future analysis.  Subscribe to news |
